In the October 12 release, a millionaire detective novelist matches wits with the unemployed actor who ran off with his wife in a deadly serious, seriously twisted game with dangerous consequences.
Caine played the younger role in the original 1972 cat-and-mouse drama opposite Laurence Olivier.
