Director Rob Cohen recently agreed to Blog his experiences working on Universal Studios’ 2008 tentpole sequel The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. During his twenty-week shooting schedule, Cohen will pop in from time to time with updates. Currently, five weeks have been completed up in the Montreal area.
Plot details are no longer a secret – the O’Connell clan take on a mummy emperor from China – but Cohen has shed some light on a few more details, such as what challenges are in store for the family:
“Crash landings, treks thru the Himalayas, Yeti, avalanches (bigger than the one I did in “XXX”), Shangri-la, three-headed dragons, pools of eternal life, epic battles, a shape-shifting Jet Li… I could go on but I don’t want to give it all away.”
