CS Video: Sanaa Lathan and Michael Ealy Talk The Perfect Guy

CS sits down with The Perfect Guy stars Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy and Morris Chestnut 

An original thriller from Screen Gems and director David M. Rosenthal, The Perfect Guy lands in theater this Friday with a cast that includes Sanaa Lathan (The Best Man Holiday), Michael Ealy (About Last Night) and Morris Chestnut (Think Like a Man). ComingSoon.net caught up with all three stars at the Los Angeles junket for the film and, in the player below, you can find out what they have to say about the terrifying story of a “perfect guy” turned deadly stalker.

Sanaa Lathan headlines as Leah Vaughn, a successful career woman whose life has just one major stumbling block. Despite having been a loving a dedicated boyfriend for years, Dave (Chestnut) just isn’t ready for a family. Leah feels otherwise and, deciding that she just can’t wait any longer, decides to break things off. Soon she meets a new man, the incredibly charming Carter Duncan, who sweeps Leah off her feet and wins over her family and friends.

For a short time, Leah believes that she has finally found the perfect guy. That is, until a violent incident makes her realize that there’s more to Carter than she ever suspected. When Leah begins to pull back, Carter becomes threatening, determined to keep Leah all to himself. A deadly game of cat and mouse begins to unfold as Carter starts to systematically destroy Leah’s life.

Written by Tyger Williams (Menace II Society), The Perfect Guy opens in theaters on September 11.
