Jim Carrey is a ‘Yes Man’

Jim Carrey‘s Number 23 pretty much sucked and he is attached to so many projects that may or may not get made right about now that it is hard to tell just when we may see him next. However, MTV hopes to clear all that up as Harry Potter producer David Heyman told the music news channel that he hopes to work with Carrey on a project called Yes Man with hopes to begin production this fall.

The film is based on the book by Danny Wallace, which centers on a man (Carrey) who decides to change his life by saying yes to everything that comes his way. Along the way he wins $45,000, meets a hypnotic dog, obtains a nursing degree, travels the globe and finds romance.

“It’s about a man who finds himself very depressed, and is always saying no. When friends ask him out, he always says no,” Heyman said. “[The film will explore] what happens when he decides to say yes to every thing that comes his way.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter Peyton Reed will be directing the feature for Warner Bros. However, there is no mention of Jim Carrey in the THR article.

Other movies Carrey has his eye on include Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, a CGI mo-cap version of A Christmas Carol with Robert Zemeckis, Sober Buddies and I Love You Phillip Morris. There is no word on what film has the upper hand in gaining Carrey’s attention first.
