Alison Brie and Mary McDonnell have joined the ever-growing cast of Scream 4.
Brie, best known for her role as Annie on NBC’s Community will play the part of Rebecca, personal assistant to Neve Campbell’s returning character, Sidney Prescott of whom, the original article notes, Rebecca is jealous.
It is unknown who McDonnell will play in the film, which started shooting in Michigan this week for an April 15, 2011 release date. Wes Craven is directing from a script by Kevin Williamson.
Brie and McDonnell join a cast that includes Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Marielle Jaffe, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Erik Knudsen, Marley Shelton, Anthony Anderson and Adam Brody.
