CS Video: The Finding Dory Cast and Crew

Sit down with the Finding Dory cast and crew for a look inside this Friday’s long-awaited animated sequel

Thirteen years after Disney•Pixar‘s Finding Nemo became one of the most beloved animated films of all time, director Andrew Stanton returns with this Friday’s Finding Dory. Set one year after the events of the original, the film follows the forgetful blue tang on a journey across the Pacific Ocean in the hopes of finding her parents at a marine life institute in California.

ComingSoon.net had the privilege of sitting down with the Finding Dory cast and crew and, in the player below, you can check out video interviews with Andrew Stanton himself, producer Lindsey Collins and Finding Dory cast members Ellen DeGeneres, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson and Ty Burrell. DeGeneres, of course, reprises the title role with the other stars voicing all manner of aquatic life. O’Neill plays Hank, a surly seven-legged octopus while Olson and Burrell are exhibit neighbors. She’s Destiny, a near-sighted whale shark, while he’s Bailey, a beluga whale who has failed to develop his sonar abilities.

There are some cool secrets revealed in the below conversations, including details on characters that didn’t make it into the final cut of the film and the suggestion that the Finding Dory Blu-ray release will offer 20 to 30 minutes of deleted scenes. Check back early next week, too, because we’ll have the slightly spoilery reveal of a late change to the pacing of Finding Dory and how it ties to an earlier version of Finding Nemo!
