Horror-comedy pilot for MTV
Taking into consideration Adam Green’s whirlwind Hatchet promo tour, you’d think the man would lapse into deep hibernation. Screw that.
Up next for the writer-director, ShockTillYouDrop.com has learned, is the tentatively-titled “You Are So Dead” – the MTV horror-comedy series formerly known as Cheerleader Camp. We’re told Green is now in post-production on the pilot episode executive produced by Scout Productions’ Rob Eric and Michael Williams. The series is not tied to 1987’s Cheerleader Camp – starring actress-cum-porn star Teri Weigel and Saw IV‘s Betsy Russell – however, we’re still scraping up series plot details.
Green lensed the pilot in Shreveport, Louisiana. Look for Hatchet on DVD December 18th.
