At NBC’s TCA today, Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews discussed with Vital Thrills his hopes to reprise his Deadpool 2 character Bedlam, saying he would love to come back for Deadpool 3.

Bedlam was one of the members of Deadpool’s X-Force, who all appeared much more briefly than anticipated before most of them met bloody ends. Crews argues, however, that Bedlam could return because in the movie his character is on life support the last time we see him.
“They were trying to revive me so you didn’t see me get cut up or head cut off,” Crews said of his Bedlam character. “There’s always something. I would love to come back for ‘Deadpool 3.'”
Crews also confirmed that the trailers and posters highlighting Bedlam’s role and the X-Force before Deadpool 2 premiered was “a troll from the beginning.” The actor felt bad about misleading fans, but felt that it was “the payoff that the movie needed.”
When the outlet shifted gears and asked about Crews not reprising his role as Caesar in The Expendables 4, Crews said: “I’m not going to do ‘Expendables 4’ simply because of the thing that happened with the producer. He basically threatened me because of my whole William Morris/Endeavor lawsuit and I decided that I was going to pull out of ‘Expendables 4’ for that reason.”

While we wait to see if Bedlam or the other X-Force members will be making appearances in Drew Goddard’s planned X-Force movie or Deadpool 3, fans can look forward to the Deadpool 2 Super Duper Cut releasing on Blu-ray and Digital this month from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, which includes 15 minutes of brand-new action and jokes.
