The final season of the anime Fruits Basket is upon us and God is coming. The voice actor for the original show and the English dub has been revealed.
According to Funimation, Hiroshi Kamiya will voice God in Fruits Basket The Final Season. For the unfamiliar, Kamiya is lent his voice to characters such as Levi Ackermann from Attack on Titan, Akashi Seijuro in Kuroko’s Basketball, and Yato in Noragami.

For the English dub will feature Matt Mercer will play God in Fruits Basket. Mostly known as part of Critical Role, he has also provided his voice to a number of incredibly popular animes. His roles include Levi Ackermann in Attack on Titan, Jotaro Kujo in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Trafalgar Law in One Piece.
The third and final season of Fruits Basket began in April of this year and is currently ongoing. Whether you view your anime subbed or dubbed, both versions are available to watch on the Funimation streaming service. As of this writing, it is on Episode 10.
Back in March, Funimation announced several voice actors that would be joining Fruits Basket The Final Season. Ai Orikasa, who has been featured in Tenchi Muyo! and Gravitation, voices Ren Soma. The English dub features Katelyn Barr, who you may have heard in My Hero Academia. Akira Soma is voiced by Akira Ishida, who has provided their voice in popular anime such as Neon Genesis Evangelion and Food Wars!. The English dub features Chad Cline, known for his work in 91 Days and Hetalia.

Fruits Basket began as a manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya and was serialized in Hana to Yume. It was published between 1998 to 2006. It received a couple of sequels titled Fruits Basket Another (2015) and The Three Musketeers Arc (2019).
The first anime adaptation premiered in 2001 hailing from Studio Deen and directed by Akitaro Daichi. The current adaptation premiered in 2019 and is produced by TMS Entertainment.
