The Pokémon Company announced a new eight-episode animated series called Pokémon Evolutions, which will premiere for free on YouTube in September.

Each episode of the series will explore a different region of the Pokémon world – Galar, Alola, Kalos, Unova, Sinnoh, Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto. Pokémon Evolutions looks a bit more serious and action-focused than the typical Pokémon fare, as you can see in the teaser trailer below.

The Pokemon Company says Evolutions was created in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the series, and it’s being animated by OLM Studios, known for its work on the Pokemon movies as well as the animated adaptions of Yo-Kai Watch, Inazuma Eleven, and Beyblade.
Pokemon TV and the official Pokemon YouTube channel will upload a new episode every two weeks, and you can see the full release schedule down below.
