With just five episodes remaining until the 1,000th episode of the hit anime One Piece, Toei Animation has released a brand new visual to celebrate the history of the series.

The brand new visual highlights the Battle of Onigashima, and features tons of characters from the series all ready to go against one another. The One Piece manga recently just hit the big milestone of 1,000 chapters and 100 volumes, and the television series is close behind it, so it’s a time for celebration amongst fans of the series. The visual is the latest piece in the One Piece 1000 Logs project, a celebration of the milestone for the series that has also included exclusive merchandise, a global popularity poll, a live-action short film, and more.

One Piece’s most recent episode was 995, meaning the 1000th episode will air likely on November 21, 2021. The anime simulcasts on Funimation and Crunchyroll weekly on Saturdays, with the English dub releasing in batches on Funimation. The English dub is quite a ways behind the Japanese version of the show and is currently adapting Season 11, which covers the Dressrosa Arc.
