Uzaki-chan Season 2 Episode 1’s release date is Saturday, October 1. In Japan, the episode will air at 9:00 p.m. JST.
For international viewers, Crunchyroll will be simulcasting the series. As of writing, there is no update yet from Crunchyroll regarding the series’ release time. The episode with English subtitles should be available approximately an hour and a half after it airs in Japan. In the United States, the corresponding schedule would be:

Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! Season 1 Episode 12 Recap
Uzaki tells Sakurai they can’t hang out anymore because she forgot to do her homework for the summer break. At the cafe, Sakurai and Mr. Asai are moving boxes. While carrying one of the boxes, Mr. Asai’s back gives out. He tells everyone they will close for the day since he needs to go to the chiropractor. Sakurai drives Mr. Asai to the clinic while Uzaki and Ami close up.
After closing, Ami hands Uzaki a free coffee. Uzaki asks if Ami will someday inherit the cafe. Ami says she still needs to do a lot of things before inheriting the business. Shortly after, Ami asks Uzaki about what she and Sakurai were like back in high school. Uzaki clarifies she only started hanging out with Sakurai during college. She remembers the first time they met in the swim club, especially how Sakurai’s eyes scared her. However, she eventually realized that Sakurai wasn’t actually terrifying. Ami notes that Uzaki and Sakurai’s friendship bloomed to the point that Uzaki talks like Sakurai.
On a different day, Uzaki asks the others about how Sakurai acts when drunk. Itsuhito gives Uzaki tips on how to get Sakurai drunk. She then visits Sakurai in his apartment, and they have a drinking party. Uzaki successfully witnesses Sakurai’s drunk state. Although later on, she gets too drunk. Eventually, Itsuhito visits and sees the two passed out. The following morning, Uzaki and Sakurai freak out after seeing they slept on the same futon.
Uzaki and Sakurai go to the cafe, despite having the day off. They talk to Mr. Asai and Ami, trying to remember what happened. Meanwhile, Mr. Asai and Ami are intrigued and excited by what could’ve happened last night. However, Sakurai insists that nothing happened. The next day, classes start again. Uzaki sees Sakurai at school. She complains about how she wished it was always summer break so they could hang out more. Sakurai says they can hang out anytime they want, catching Uzaki off guard.
