Hajime Kamoshida and Kēji Mizoguchi’s work revolves around the story of a high school student named Sakuta Azusagawa. One day, he stumbles upon Mai Sakurajima, a teenage actress. He notices her wearing a bunny girl outfit in a public library. However, except Sakuta, no one can see her. Mai becomes intrigued by this as she happens to be the victim of a phenomenon in which no one can notice her no matter what type of clothes she wears.
Sakuta came up with the name “Adolescence Syndrome” for the phenomenon and started investigating the mystery behind it. Following this, the two grow close, and Mai eventually starts dating him. He comes across other people who suffer from the “Adolescence Syndrome.” Interestingly, one of them happens to be his sister Kaede.
