The series will last 12 episodes, and comes with a lot of anticipation, as the production studio behind it has worked on titles like Ghost in the Shell as well as the first three seasons of Attack on Titan in the past. Directed by Kazuto Nakazawa (who also provided the original story alongside Production I.G.) and produced by Rui Kuroki, Fena: Pirate Princess stems from a screenplay from Asako Kuboyama, with music by Yuki Kajiura.
