- “The One With the List” (Season 2)
While Monica trying out Thanksgiving Mockolate recipes is amusing, we can’t help but feel upset when Rachel sees Ross’s list of her flaws, gets mad, and breaks up with him only one day after they’d finally gotten together.
- “The One Where Chandler Doesn’t Like Dogs” (Season 7)
Chandler lies and tells everyone that he’s allergic to dogs, but really, he’s afraid of them. Phoebe and the rest of the group spend the episode hiding, losing, and locating a dog that Phoebe is keeping in her room.
- “The One With Chandler in a Box” (Season 4)
Joey won’t forgive Chandler for kissing his girlfriend Kathy, so he makes him stay in a box for six hours. Monica invites Richard’s son to Thanksgiving and kisses him, but she is grossed out when the kiss reminds her of his dad.
- “The One With Rachel’s Other Sister” (Season 9)
Everyone gets super annoyed with Monica’s neurotic behavior surrounding the use of her wedding china for Thanksgiving dinner. Rachel’s self-centered sister Amy shows up, and a fight about who’d get Emma if Ross and Rachel died ensues.
- “The One Where Underdog Gets Away” (Season 1)
The Underdog balloon gets away, and the friends clamor to the roof to see it, locking themselves out of their apartment. Dinner ends up ruined, but they all enjoy a feast of tomato soup and grilled cheese.

Monica’s parents don’t like Chandler because Ross blamed him for the smell of pot in the house when they were in college. The parents find out it was Ross, and they thank Chandler for putting up with their kids all these years.
- “The One With the Football” (Season 3)
The friends divide into two teams to play football. Monica and Ross dive for the ball at the last play; they both catch it and hold on to the ball until dark.
- “The One With the Rumor” (Season 8)
Joey finishes off a 19-pound turkey, which gives him the “meat sweats.” Monica invites her high school friend over, and they reminisce about the “I Hate Rachel Green” club.
- “The One With the Late Thanksgiving” (Season 10)
Phoebe convinces Rachel to enter Emma into a beauty contest, Joey and Ross go to a Rangers game, and everyone ends up being late for dinner. Monica and Chandler lock everyone out of the apartment only to have Joey’s head get stuck in the door.
- “The One With All the Thanksgivings” (Season 5)
This is hands-down one of the funniest Friends Thanksgiving episodes. The group flashes back to stories of their worst Thanksgivings. Chandler finds out the real story behind Monica cutting off his toe when he was in college. The episode ends with Chandler accidentally admitting to a turkey-headed Monica that he loves her.
