Scott Snyder reveals which Absolute Batman villian has the highest kill count
The veteran comic book author talked to Kristoff Kirchoff at the La Mole convention on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, when he revealed the Absolute Batman villain with the highest kill count.
In a clip shared on Instagram, Kirchoff asked Scott Snyder about the evolution of Batman’s character in the comic and where his character is headed. He asserted, “He’s leaving behind his friends, his family, his mom, everything, because he is becoming the beacon of Gotham. So, what’s going on with that?”
In his response, Snyder gave a sneak peek at the next arc. He even revealed the Absolute Batman villain with a major kill count. Snyder conveyed, “The next arc, he’s going to kind of run into trouble with Scarecrow because he’s pushed his friends away. So the next arc is really dark and twisted. I mean, Scarecrow has a higher, like, kill count by issue one than any other villain we’ve used so far.”
Scott Snyder also teased that the upcoming Absolute Batman #19 will be much bigger than its predecessors. He stated, “Issue 19 changes everything, the next issue. Like, there’s new Batmobiles, there’s new villains, new… like, there’s a big, you know, a huge event—I won’t say what it is—but it turns the whole series, like, crazy town. It’s crazy.”
Moreover, the writer hinted that Absolute Robin might also make an appearance in Absolute Batman issue 20.
