Metroid Dread Announced, Out Later This Year

Nintendo did not have an update on Metroid Prime 4, but it did have another Metroid game to show: Metroid Dread. Metroid Dread is a 2D entry into the series and looks like a natural follow-up from 2017’s Samus Returns. The game’s release date is October 8, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.
