Marvel's XCOM-Style Marvel Game Official

As was previously rumored, XCOM developer Firaxis Games is creating a new Marvel game titled Midnight Suns. It is set to release in March 2022 on unnamed platforms, but no more specific date was given.

Firaxis did not show any gameplay either; that is coming on September 1 at 11:30 a.m. PT. But the team did choose to reveal a ton of different Marvel characters from Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, and Blade. Players can even sign up for a newsletter on the game’s website to get an exclusive Blade skin.

The description calls it a tactical RPG so it’s unclear at this point if it will resemble the types of strategy games that Firaxis is known for.

The Midnight Sons (yes, with an “o”) are a team of superheroes in the comics featuring Hellstrom, Jennifer Kale, Morbius, Werewolf by Night, Doctor Strange, and the Ghost Riders Danny Ketch and Johnny Blaze. The first appeared in 1992.
