The appearance came during a segment about Sony’s upcoming Uncharted film, which is based on the game series made by Naughty Dog. In a brief message, Druckmann said that he was excited about the film, before talking about the upcoming The Last of Us television series that is also based on its critically acclaimed game series.
“As you can imagine, this is an exciting time for us at Naughty Dog. The original Uncharted launched back in 2007. Since then, the franchise has become known for its character-driven stories, globetrotting treasure-seeking adventures, and blockbuster set pieces,” Druckmann stated. “We’re proud that Nathan Drake is coming to the big screen, giving an opportunity to reconnect with our fans as well as reach a whole new audience. The team behind the movie has put a new and exciting spin on Nathan Drake’s origin while still retaining the spirit of what made the stories in the same so special. That sense of intrigue, spectacle, humor, and most importantly the relationship between its characters.”
Druckmann then teased what the future holds for Naughty Dog, and revealed that the team was working on multiple game projects. “We’re dying to share with you the multiple game projects we have in the works at Naughty Dog,” Druckmann revealed.

As far as what the new projects could be, one is The Last of Us multiplayer game that the studio has been hiring for. Last year, a Bloomberg report stated that Naughty Dog was working on a remake of The Last of Us, which could potentially line up with the HBO show. Other than that, plans are unknown as to what the acclaimed developer could have in the works.
