Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge hit a whole slew of systems back in June, but was only playable on PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility. However, now a native PS5 version has been announced and is almost out.
The native PS5 port is being released on November 15. And while Tribute Games noted that it would be the same exact game with no new content or enhancements, it won’t be a free upgrade, meaning those with the PS4 version will have to plunk down the money (likely $24.99) for this PS5 port. However, this PS5 edition will at least give players a fresh set of trophies to earn.

Limited Run Games is also selling multiple physical editions of this version, which are similar but a little different from the ones that were on the other platforms. Pre-orders are now live for all four editions and will take around eight to nine months to ship out once the pre-order window closes on November 27.
The base version with just the game will be $34.99. The $64.99 Classic Edition is the next step up and all 2,000 units (which won’t come with the Pizza Hut coupon this time around) will come with:
- A physical copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge with a reversible cover
- An official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge steelbook
- An art booklet (inside the standard game case)
- A retro VHS sleeve with VHS tape box (sized to store the game and steelbook)
- Sprite stickers
The $199.99 Radical Edition is mostly unchanged and also doesn’t include a Pizza Hut coupon. Each of the 1,000 units will have have:
- A physical copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge with reversible cover and action figure style blister box packaging
- Blister box packaging includes trap door on back for easy removal of the game without damaging the card
- An official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge steelbook
- A deluxe playset style box (art to be shown later) with slipcover
- A mini arcade cabinet replica/movie viewer that plays the game’s trailer
- Physical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge soundtrack CD
- An art booklet (inside the standard game case)
- A retro VHS sleeve with VHS tape box (sized to store the game and steelbook)
- A full length strategy guide
- An 18″ x 24″ poster
- A 3D shadow box
- An exclusive reissue of the original retro Shredder action figure with cartoon accurate colors from Playmates

The final bundle wasn’t available on the other systems and Limited Run didn’t provide new pictures for it. This Fan Bundle will be $299.99 and come with the other three versions as well as:

- A full set of Limited Run Games Trading Cards from today’s releases
- One random Limited Run Games trading card from past or future games
- One guaranteed gold trading card from any of the included games
