Midnight Suns’ Storm Release Date Set, Switch Version Canceled

Marvel’s Midnight Suns‘ Storm DLC marks the end of the season pass, but Firaxis Games hasn’t put an exact date on that likely final expansion until now. The team also revealed the release date for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, and even noted that the Nintendo Switch version has been canceled entirely.

When does the Marvel’s Midnight Suns Storm DLC come out?

The digital versions of Midnight Suns on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are scheduled to release on May 11 alongside the Storm DLC. This DLC, titled Blood Storm, will introduce the popular electrical hero as a playable character to the game, as well as new missions in the ongoing vampire storyline in Midnight Suns.

For players who have all of the past Midnight Suns DLC installments (The Good, the Bad, and the Undead, Redemption, The Hunger, and Blood Storm), completing all DLC story missions for Deadpool, Venom, Morbius, and Storm will unlock a final showdown against “an age-old monster of myth,” presumably Dracula, as he first appeared at the end of Deadpool‘s DLC mission “The Deadliest Sin.”

Alongside the new missions, the Blood Storm DLC also includes a brand new Abbey upgrade, new cosmetics, and more. Unfortunately, those waiting to play the game on the Nintendo Switch are out of luck, as Firaxis also announced that a version of the game for the Nintendo console is “no longer planned.” No follow-up information has been given for the cancellation.
