Wales Interactive continues its fine tradition of keeping the flame alight for FMV-style games with its biggest live-action interactive adventure yet.
The Isle Tide Hotel is created by brother-sister director-producer combo Harry and Grace Chadwick, and features a fairly prominent cast including Richard Brake (DOOM, Game of Thrones), Jessica Ellerby (Pennyworth), Jemima Rooper (The Black Dahlia, Matriarch), Michael D. Xavier (Outlander, The Blacklist), and Amit Shah (Doctor Who, The Witcher).
The interactive film will allow players to make a series of choices that will lead to one of seven different endings in a story billed as Knives Out, but grittier. The story of The Isle Tide Hotel is as follows
Play as an absent father who must rescue his teenage daughter from an eclectic cult before their final night at The Isle Tide Hotel. Save Eleanor Malone in this eccentric live-action mystery, where every decision affects the story.

The interactive film promises multiple playthroughs that will uncover all sorts of lore, easter eggs, and hidden scenes as well as those alternate endings.
Wales Interactive has been a key player in a revival of the FMV game in recent years and has covered multiple genres with titles such as The Complex, Late Shift, Five Dates, The Bunker, and The Shapeshifting Detective.
The Isle Tide Hotel release date on PC, Epic Game Store, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android is set for September 12, 2023.
