PlayStation has revealed the details involving the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 New Game+ patch, as well as some new DLC suits.
On the PlayStation Blog, Insomniac Games Community Director James Stevenson went into detail about the sequel‘s upcoming patch, version 1.002, which drops on March 7. In addition to New Game+, both Peter and Miles’ Hellfire Gala suits will be added to the game for free, with Peter’s being designed by Russell Dauterman and Miles’ being designed by Bernard Chang. Peter’s symbiote story suits will also have new suit styles added, in addition to the ability to change the time of day after completing the story. In terms of accessibility features, audio descriptions and screen reader are also being implemented with the patch.
On the same day that the New Game+ patch debuts, two other suits will be made available as paid DLC. The Fly N’ Fresh suits will cost $4.99, with the entirety of the price going towards Gameheads up to one million dollars until April 5, 2024. At a later date, the Fly N’ Fresh suits will also be made available for free.

Which games came before Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the sequel to 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man and 2020’s Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Developed by Insomniac Games, the sequel features a variety of famous Spider-Man villains, including Kraven the Hunter and Venom — the latter of which was voiced by Candyman star Tony Todd.
