Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete Revealed, Release Date Set

Nintendo announced Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, a paid version of its mobile game based on the popular cozy life simulator. It will launch for Android and iOS devices on December 2, 2024.

When is the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete release date?

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete allows players to play the mobile game after service ends on November 28, 2024, at 7 a.m. PT. Starting at $9.99, this new version will have no in-app purchases, and will not require a continuous online connection. That price goes up to $19.99 on January 30, 2025, at 10 p.m. PT. The one time purchase includes access to the game’s majority of items and events that have been present for its seven year run.

Players can transfer their current game progress to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. All they have to do is link their current Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp save data to their Nintendo Account by June 1, 2025, at 11 p.m. PT.

There are a couple features new to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. The paid version introduces Camper Cards, customizable in-game cards players can create and trade via QR Code. These cards include information about the player like their personal favorite animal pal. An new location called Whistle Pass allows players to invite friends to partake in activities together. Other new additional content like fishing tournaments, scavenger hunts, and garden events will also be included.

“Since the app launched in 2017, the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp community has been building cozy, creative campsites and forging strong connections with their animal pals,” says the game’s description. “As the campsite manager, players are tasked with building fun and engaging campsites loaded with cozy tents, relaxing swings and even merry-go-rounds. Players also find time for fun outdoor detours like fishing, catching bugs, chatting with neighbors and decorating their camper van.”
