A new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was released this morning, showing off plenty of new details present in the upcoming ninth generation of Pokémon games.

Throughout the trailer, a number of new Pokémon can be seen, alongside the previously-shown starters and the fierce new legendary cover Pokémon, Koraidon and Miraidon. Returning favorites like the Mareep and Gengar lines appear, confirming a mix of old and new creatures.
Two new professors, Sada and Turo, are seen, with players meeting Sada in Scarlet version and Turo in Violet version. Nemona, the ninth-generation rival, is also highlighted. The official website for the games revealed that players will be able to freely explore an open world this time around, a first for the mainline Pokémon franchise.

Finally, Undertale creator and composer Toby Fox took to Twitter to announce that he composed the field music for the upcoming mainline Pokémon games ahead of their November 18 release. This comes after Fox composed the Battle Tower Boss Battle theme for 2019’s Pokémon Sword and Shield versions. You can check out the tweet below for all the details.
