A new Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty trailer was released by CD Projekt Red during today’s Gamescom presentation, previewing the upcoming DLC. Phantom Liberty releases on September 26 alongside the free Update 2.0.
In the trailer, exclusive new features like Relic skill tree, the Dogtown setting, dynamic events and missions, and more are show. Various overhauled gameplay aspects are also featured, including the redesigned perks system, new perks, improved enemy AI, improved police AI, and the introduction of vehicle combat.
What will Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty be about?
“Phantom Liberty is an upcoming spy-thriller expansion for Cyberpunk 2077,” reads the video’s description. “Return as cyber-enhanced mercenary V and embark on a high-stakes mission of espionage and intrigue to save the NUSA President. In the dangerous district of Dogtown, you must forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations. Do you have what it takes to survive?”

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 26, 2023. Note that it will not release for the PS4 or Xbox One, as CD Projekt Red is no longer supporting those versions of the game.
