Where can I stream and watch Avatar 2: The Way of Water?
Avatar 2: The Way of Water will be available to stream on Disney Plus and Max on June 7, 2023. Subscribers to the streaming service will be able to watch it on this date.

Once subscribed to Disney’s streaming service or Max (formerly known as HBO Max), you’ll be able to watch the Avatar sequel when it’s released. Typically, new releases land on Disney Plus at around 1 a.m. P.T. / 4 a.m. E.T. / 8 a.m. G.M.T., so mark it down in your calendar if you haven’t had a chance to catch it at the theater.
Both streamers are set to receive bonus content that will dive deeper into the making of the film, giving those who have already watched the film something a little extra to sink their teeth into. You can also catch up on your Avatar lore before the sequel by watching the original 2010 blockbuster with your Disney Plus subscription.
The official synopsis for the sequel reads:
“Jake Sully and Ney’tiri have formed a family and are doing everything to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must fight a difficult war against the humans.“
