Frozen 3 Release Date Rumors: When Is It Coming Out?

After Frozen II became the highest-grossing animated movie of all time, Frozen 3 was always expected to happen. On Tuesday, February 8, during Disney’s Q1 earnings call, CEO Bob Iger revealed that we will indeed be getting a Frozen threequel after two Billion Dollar Frozen movies. But does the threequel have an official release date yet?

Here’s all the Frozen 3 release date information we have so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.

Is there a Frozen 3 release date?

Frozen 3’s release date could arrive by November 26, 2025.

Frozen 3 is currently in production and is expected to release on the aforementioned date. The first Frozen hit theaters on November 29, 2013, and the second one arrived 6 years later on November 22, 2019. So, the announcement of Frozen 3 earlier this year puts it in line to be released 6 years after Frozen II.

Disney currently has an untitled animated movie scheduled for a November 26, 2025 release. Since the announcement of Frozen 3 was made only recently, and Disney has an established 6-year release pattern for Frozen movies, Frozen 3 could be scheduled to release November 26, 2025, if not later. That would give the creatives ample time to finish and deliver the threequel.

This date is an estimation based on the information we have so far. ComingSoon will provide an update to this story once we receive official details.

The movie is expected to bring back the leads including Kristen Bell as Anna and Idina Menzel as Elsa, Josh Gad as Olaf, and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff. Other characters likely to be back are Sterling K Brown as Mattias, Rachel Matthews as Ryder’s sister Honeymaren, Jason Ritter as Northuldra member Ryder, and Ciarán Hinds as Rock Trolls leader Pabbie.

Where is Frozen 3 coming out?

Frozen 3 is anticipated to come out in theaters on November 26, 2025.

Towards the end of Frozen 2, Elsa stayed in the forest and fully accepted her magical side while Anna found her place in the world by becoming the Queen of Arendelle. So, the story would continue from that point, but we could also expect a time jump to be added between parts 2 and 3.
