Platonic Episode 9 is written by Francesca Delbanco. The show follows a pair of former best friends who are approaching midlife and reconnecting after a long estrangement. But this time, their friendship becomes more intense and completely disrupts their lives.
The series started streaming on May 24 and has followed a weekly release schedule since then. Its finale will air on July 12, 2023. It stars Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Carla Gallo, Andrew Lopez, Alisha Wainwright, Guy Branum, Janet Varney, Emily Kimball, and Vinny Thomas, alongside Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne in the lead.
