Ahsoka Episode 3 Ending Explained: Spoilers & What Happens at the End?

Ahsoka episode 3 featured an ending that left the fate of the titular hero upended. What happened to Ahsoka Tano in the latest episode of the Disney Plus series? And what are those creatures she saw during her journey? Here’s what happens at the end of Ahsoka episode 3, and beware of spoilers.

What happens at the end of Ahsoka episode 3?

Baylan Skoll deploys troops and HK assassin droids to track down Ahsoka and Sabine on Seatos.

The final scene of Ahsoka episode 3 evokes memories of Ahsoka’s live-action debut in The Mandalorian “Chapter 13: The Jedi,” where she clashed with Elsbeth Morgan’s forces on Corvus. Those same troops were sent by Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) to hunt down Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) after they hid in the forest on Seatos. Their journey to the planet was quite bumpy as they had to deal with Elsbeth and her allies in spaceship battles, but that gave way to Ahsoka, proving she was a formidable warrior once again.

What are the purrgil in Ahsoka?

The purrgil are the star whales seen in Ahsoka.

While clashing with Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno) and Marrok (Paul Darnell), Ahsoka and Sabine encountered the star whales. Huyang (David Tennant) explained these creatures’ migration paths unveil ancient hyperspace routes to other galaxies. The purrgil made their live-action debut in The Mandalorian season 3, although their name wasn’t mentioned then. Star Wars long-term fans might recall they helped Ezra Bridger in Star Wars Rebels to exile General Thrawn to another galaxy.
