Will the Black Clover anime continue or is it finished?
As of April 2024, there is no available information on whether the Black Clover anime is over or if it will continue.
The last season was season 4, which covered the Spade Kingdom Raid arc and ended with episode 170. The manga is currently in its final arc, which means there’s still content for the anime. However, it’s likely that the anime won’t be coming back anytime soon.
Shueisha serialized the Black Clover manga on Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2015 to August 2023. The series moved to Jump Giga in December 2023, with serialization changing to a seasonal quarterly release. This means a new chapter is made available every three to four months.
Will there be a season 5 of Black Clover?
As of April 2024, there is no confirmation so far about Black Clover Season 5.
In a recent interview, Studio Pierrot President Michiyuki Honma told Comic Natalie that due to the success of Demon Slayer and its seasonal releases, the studio is planning to follow suit with a seasonal release rather than a weekly one.
Since the manga chapters are published less frequently now, it will probably take a while for the anime to be able to adapt enough content from the manga. Studio Pierrot produces the anime and they are currently busy with Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, with the third batch releasing sometime this year.
