More reactions to Vegapunk’s message from everyone around the world are shown. Momonosuke, Kinemon, Tama, and Shinobu are listening in Wano through Orochi’s Den Den Mushi (Transponder Snail). Momonosuke comments on Joy Boy being a pirate like Luffy, and Kinemon asks Momonosuke about knowing that name.
At the G-4 Base, Demaro Black and his crew, looking like Kid Pirates, are also listening to the message. Luffy, Dorry, and Brogy continue running from Warcury. Vegapunk explains that Poneglyphs are records of history that talk about a great battle that happened during the Void Century. At that time, Joy Boy’s enemy was the current World Government. At the laboratory, Mars’ Conqueror’s Haki knocked out many Den Den Mushi.
Vegapunk says Joy Boy’s enemies were an “Alliance Army” of 20 nations which eventually became the World Government. He adds that it was a battle between two different types of “ideas” but neither side was right or wrong. Carrot and Wanda are listening from Zou. Vegapunk says the place where Joy Boy was born 900 years ago had weapons that can’t be made with today’s technology. Foxy, Porche, and Hamburg are listening from a small boat.
At Egghead, Edison tells Stussy to escape, saying she no longer needs to care about the barrier anymore. Nami’s group, Zoro, and Jinbei are rushing because Marine ships are approaching the Elbaf ship. Meanwhile, Stussy is talking to Kaku. Nusjuro escapes from the giants and tries to attack Bonney, but Franky pulls her out. Nusjuro then cuts Punk Records in half with one big slash, freeing the Seraphim and Cipher Pol agents.
Vegapunk says the Void Century ended after Joy Boy’s defeat. At Shimotsuki Village, Koushirou is listening. Vegapunk says the continents that existed a thousand years ago sank after the sea levels rose by 200 meters. They currently live in the remnants of those continents. The world from a thousand years ago is at the bottom of the sea, nowhere to be found.
There are reactions from the Revolutionary Army, Cocoyasi Village, and Sakura Kingdom as well. Vegapunk says the calamity from before was man-made. He says the ancient weapons that sunk the world before still exist, waiting to be used again. The last page shows Imu’s face, but they’re still in the shadows.
The series will not be on break next week.
