Just weeks before his death, Chadwick Boseman, the beloved Black Panther actor, had publicly shown his support for Harris when she became Biden’s running mate for the election. On August 11, 2020, Boseman’s official X (formerly known as Twitter) account posted a photo of him embracing then-Senator Kamala Harris at a Freedom for Immigrants event in 2018.
