Yvette Nicole Brown and Anthony Davis are now married
Anthony Davis and Yvette Nicole Brown married on Saturday, December 14, at a ceremony at The Maybourne Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
The wedding had 200 guests, which included the couple’s friend, Grammy and Tony Award winner Leslie Odom Jr., four-time Grammy-winning icon Daniece Williams, and Brown’s Community co-stars Joel McHale, Jim Rash, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong, and Gillian Jacobs.
Odom Jr. did a serenade, to which Brown and Davis danced. Meanwhile, Williams sang her hit song, “Free.”
Brown revealed in an exclusive interview with People that she had no qualms about marrying Davis. “He is the one for me. Absolutely,” she said.
Brown had walked down the aisle with her brother Paris, who stood in for their father, who had Alzheimer’s Disease. However, Davis surprised Brown when he arranged for her father to attend the wedding. Davis made arrangements with the health facility to take care of Brown’s father.
The Community actress sported a simple mermaid-style gown that Ines Di Santo designed. Meanwhile, Davis wore a custom light-brown suit designed by Vinny’s Custom Clothes. The suit had cufflinks with messages inscribed by Brown.
Marriage and family counselor Love McPherson officiated the couple’s wedding. William P. Miller, a celebrity wedding planner, produced the wedding.
Anthony Davis and Yvette Nicole Brown had met many years ago during their 20s. However, they lost touch sometime after. They eventually reconnected in 2021 after Davis reached out to Brown following her mother’s passing, which Brown explained in an appearance on The View.
This is Davis’ and Brown’s second and first marriage, respectively.
