What Happens to Heron & Seraphim in Blood of Zeus Season 3 Finale?

Blood of Zeus finally reached its ending in Season 3, leaving fans curious about the ultimate fate of the two brothers at the heart of the story: Heron and Seraphim. With gods and Titans clashing in a battle for supremacy, sacrifices were made, alliances were tested, and destinies were fulfilled.

So, did Heron and Seraphim survive the final battle, or did one or both die? Here are all the spoilers.

Do Heron and Seraphim live or die in Blood of Zeus Season 3 finale?

The showdown in the Blood of Zeus Season 3 finale pitted Heron and Seraphim against the monstrous Titans, Cronos and Typhon. Though the odds seemed impossible, Heron refused to back down. Drawing upon the divine power inherited from Zeus, he faced Typhon head-on in a desperate bid to buy time for the Olympians. In a moment of selfless heroism, Heron unleashed his full strength, destroying Typhon—but at the cost of his own life. Heron’s dying was both tragic and noble, securing victory for Olympus while leaving his loved ones to mourn his loss.

Once a vengeful enemy of the gods, Seraphim fought alongside Heron in the final battle. While Heron fell, Seraphim delivered the decisive blow against Cronos, proving his loyalty and earning the gods’ favor. Seraphim did not die in the Blood of Zeus Season 3 finale, unlike his brother. He survived the war and was rewarded for his bravery. In the closing scenes, he visited Heron and their mother in the Elysium Fields. This was a rare privilege granted by the gods.

Co-creator Charley Parlapanides clarified that Seraphim was not dead but merely allowed to journey to the afterlife as a hero. Originally, the story was meant to happen over five seasons, with Heron dying later and Seraphim’s arc continuing. However, when Netflix ended the series early, the writers condensed the ending while still honoring the brothers’ legacies.
