In the latest episode, Finn tells Liam that the neurology team wants to conduct additional tests and scans. He encourages Liam to stay strong and conserve his energy. Liam then asks if there is any chance of survival. Finn responds that it wouldn’t be right to offer false hope. Still, Liam insists that even a small percentage of hope means a great deal to him.
Later, Liam remarks that he looks older as he and Finn review his symptoms. Finn takes him for a neurological scan, and Liam anxiously awaits the results. Finn assures him that he’ll share them as soon as they arrive. Liam, trying to lower his expectations, says, “Although I don’t know, I could really use something to have some faith in.” He also asks Finn to promise that, if he dies, he’ll do everything he can to unite Hope and Steffy.
