During a panel at the Amazon Port event in Cannes, France, where he appeared alongside his brother Jason Kelce, Travis sparked speculation after making a lighthearted comment. While discussing product endorsements, he remarked, “The ads I love the most are the ones I actually use, the stuff that I use every single day. It’s hard to sell dog food when you don’t have a dog.” (via Daily Mail)
In response, another panelist suggested it might be time for him to adopt one. Laughing, Kelce agreed, saying, “There you go, yeah, I need to get a dog.” Jason quickly followed up with another joke, saying, “Try selling [dog food] right after your dog dies.”
After the exchange, fans quickly began speculating whether Kelce and Swift might actually be considering a pet together. The pair have been dating for nearly two years and seem to be going strong. The pop star is also a mom to three cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button, all named after pop culture characters.
Kelce’s appearance in Cannes came just ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp, which begins on June 17 and runs through June 19. Although he skipped voluntary team workouts and was recently seen enjoying time in Florida, he is expected to return to his team before training camp begins on July 21.
Most recently, Swift and Kelce were spotted together at the Stanley Cup Final in Sunrise, Florida.
