There’s growing curiosity surrounding the digital and streaming release date for Roofman. The new movie starring Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst is directed and co-written by Derek Cianfrance. The cast also includes LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Melonie Diaz, Lily Collins, Jimmy O. Yang, and Peter Dinklage.
Distributed by Paramount Pictures, the movie opened in theaters on October 10th. So, when will Roofman be available for streaming, and will it come out on Paramount+?
When will Roofman get its digital release date?
Roofman is now playing in theaters and has received high praise from critics. Moreover, its opening weekend brought in just under $8 million.
Before arriving on streaming, Roofman will first become available on digital platforms for purchase or rental. It will be digitally available 17-45 days after the theatrical release, and viewers could be able to buy or rent the film on Amazon Prime Video or YouTube Movies. This is the pattern typically followed by recent Paramount Pictures movies.
Hence, the film will likely be available digitally around mid-November, although there’s been no official announcement on the same.
When will Roofman begin streaming on Paramount+?
Considering the case of the Paramount Pictures movie The Naked Gun, which was released on August 1, 2025, became available digitally on September 2, 2025, and started streaming on Paramount+ on September 30, Roofman’s schedule will likely be similar. Following this pattern, the movie will likely be available to stream on Paramount+ around mid-December 2025.
The streaming platform doesn’t offer monthly payment plans. Instead, it has two subscription options, both of which require an annual payment. These annual plans are called the Essential plan and the Premium plan. The former gives access to shows, movies, and live sports. However, it does not include live local CBS streams or content from Showtime. The latter provides access to all of the above.
