General Hospital star Michael Easton confirmed his return from his sabbatical on Instagram. He shared a series of photos that were taken at his friend Jackson Davis’s photoshoot.
“Back from sabbatical and stopped by the studio of my buddy @jacksondavisphoto. This guy is so talented he even got me to smile. #photoshoot,” he captioned the post.
Easton’s post has received 8963 likes as of writing. Moreover, his followers and colleagues fawned over his photos in the comments. “Welcome back! We have missed you! Great pic!” A fan wrote.

Michael Easton’s Finn was last seen in General Hospital on June 27, 2024. He gave an emotional goodbye to his daughter, Violet, his half-brother, Harrison Chase, and Chase’s wife, Brook Lynn Quartermaine, before checking into rehab to stop his alcoholism. Before he left, Chase promised Finn that he and Brook Lynn would look after Violet in his stead.
After filming his final scenes, Easton shared a video on Instagram, expressing gratitude to his fans for their love and support and to his fellow cast/crew members for allowing him to work on the soap opera.
Easton played Finn on General Hospital between 2016 and 2024. He also reprised his role of Dr. John McBain from One Life to Live between 2012-2013. Furthermore, he reprised Caleb Morley/Stephen Clay from Port Charles in 2013 and Clay’s brother, Dr. Silas, between 2013 and 2015.
