List of every Ghostface killer from Scream 1 to 7
Over the years, the Ghostface identity has passed to many characters, each bringing a different level of danger to the franchise.
Scream (1996):
Billy Loomis, played by Skeet Ulrich, remains one of the most iconic Ghostfaces. He fakes his death, manipulates Sidney, and carefully plans the original murders. Stu Macher, played by Matthew Lillard, was the second Ghostface in the movie.
Scream 2 (1997):
Mickey Altieri, played by Timothy Olyphant, carries out several brutal murders and enjoys the attention. However, Mrs. Nancy Loomis, played by Laurie Metcalf, secretly controls the larger revenge plan and manipulates him.
Scream 3 (2000):
Roman Bridger, played by Scott Foley, put on the iconic Ghostface. He works alone and carefully commits every murder himself.
Scream 4 (2011):
Charlie Walker, played by Rory Culkin, carries out most of the physical attacks. Jill Roberts, played by Emma Roberts, plans the bigger scheme. She tries to set herself up as the new final girl. Her plan almost works, making her one of the most ambitious killers.
Scream 5 (2022):
Amber Freeman, played by Mikey Madison, and Richie Kirsch, played by Jack Quaid, took on the iconic killer’s role.
Scream 6 (2023):
The sixth installment saw its first-ever trio of Ghostface killers: Detective Wayne Bailey, played by Dermot Mulroney; Ethan Landry, played by Jack Champion; and Quinn Bailey, played by Liana Liberato.
Scream 7 (2026):
The latest movie follows the same pattern as the previous one by featuring three killers. It reveals Jessica Bowden, played by Anna Camp, and Marco, played by Ethan Embry, and Karl Allan Gibbs, played by Kraig Dane, as the killers.
The Scream franchise has seen Ghostface change faces many times over the years. However, some killers have clearly left a much stronger mark on the franchise than others.
