We got first word on the writer
From Dusk Till Dawn 3 director P.J Pesce has been tapped to direct Warner Bros.’ direct-to-DVD sequel The Lost Boys: The Tribe. Shock has also learned through a number of sources that Hans Rodionoff (Saint Sinner) won the studio over with his take on the story and will receive screenwriting credit. Other credits include The Hollow, Marvel’s Man-Thing and Cliver Barker’s Tortured Souls, a property currently resting in development purgatory.
The “Lost Boys” sequel – said to follow a band of surfing bloodsuckers – lenses in Vancouver, Canada from June to July; it’s one of the many DTV sequels Warner has in the pipeline along with Beetlejuice 2.
This won’t be the last you hear about “Tribe” – it’s just the beginning, so hang ten, er, tight!
