Sonnenfeld’s supernatural “event” pic
Pandora’s Box is the subject of Barry Sonnenfeld’s new flick. The Men in Black director has taken to a script by Evan Spiliotopoulos called The Box, a blend of supernatural action, that is currently in 20th Century Fox’s hands. The story concerns a college student who unwittingly opens the fabled box and releases all sorts of E-V-I-L. He then “teams” with Pandora (?!) to save the world. After the Robin Williams comedy RV, a few misfires like Wild Wild West and Men in Black II, The Box is being called Sonnenfeld’s return to summer event movie-making.
