Coming to Blu-Ray…
Just in time for the April 16 release of Piranha 3D, Shout Factory is prepping a Blu-Ray edition of Joe Dante’s original Piranha.
Expect to see it street on April 6. The title will arrive under Shout’s “Roger Corman’s Cult Classics” banner. We’re still awaiting word on special features.
Written by John Sayles and released in ’78, the film finds piranha attacking a summer resort. Black Sunday‘s Barbara Steele co-stars.
