James DeMonaco will return to write and direct.
The second film, The Purge: Anarchy, has grossed an estimated $108 million worldwide. These films are shot on the cheap so there’s a massive profit had on that film as well as the first movie, which debuted in 2013.
There’s no official title, no official plot synopsis, but I’m going to speculate they’ll have the next film rolling cameras by the end of the year and ready for early summer 2015.
