V/H/S: Viral Director will helm V/H/S Adaptation, Siren

Announced alongside their upcoming Lifeforce remake, Chiller’s feature length adaptation of David Bruckner’s nightmarish V/H/S segment, “Amateur Night” has a director. The Siren’s got another alumni of the found footage anthology series.

Aint It Cool reports Gregg Bishop, of the zombie prom favorite Dance of the Dead and V/H/S: Viral’s “Dante the Great” will helm Siren for the network. Expected in 2016, Siren will feature a similar plot to “Amateur Night,” in which ‘a bachelor party becomes a savage fight for survival when the groomsmen unwittingly unleash a fabled predator upon the festivities.’ Siren is written by Ben Collins & Luke Piotrowski (the currently in-production Stephanie), executive produced by David Bruckner and Brad Miska and produced by Gary Binkow for Collective Digital Studios.

No word yet if Hannah Fierman will return as the “I like you” creature, though her captivating presence does seem to have ownership of the character.
