The star-studded ensemble of Bad Newz just got a glamorous boost with the addition of Ananya Panday to its cast. The young Bollywood sensation is set to make a cameo appearance, enhancing the film’s already considerable buzz.
Directed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Bad Newz features Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in lead roles. The film is set for a theatrical release on July 19, 2024. Reportedly, it explores the intriguing and rare medical phenomenon known as heteropaternal superfecundation. In this condition, a woman becomes pregnant with twins having different biological fathers.
Ananya Panday will share screen space with Triptii Dimri in Bad Newz
According to a recent report from Mid-Day, Ananya Panday is slated to portray a popular film star in the movie. Her character’s storyline will intersect with Triptii Dimri’s, who plays a chef in the film. Some of Panday’s scenes have already been filmed at a luxurious five-star hotel in Juhu. The shots captured her character’s glamorous arrival amid a frenzy of paparazzi and fans.
However, the upcoming schedule on May 13, 2024, will conclude Ananya’s shooting for the film. This cameo marks another collaboration with Dharma Productions for Panday. Ananya Panday previously appeared in a guest role in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani for the song ‘Heartthrob.’
Ananya Panday is known for her roles in popular films like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Gehraiyaan, and the recent Dream Girl 2.
