So far, several actors and celebrities have reviewed the movie and praised Fahadh Faasil’s character as Ranga. While the film is being watched by many, below is a complete explanation of its plot and the ending.

Aavesham begins with the introduction of three friends – Aju, Bibi, and Shanthan. They moved to Bangalore from Kerala to pursue a career in aeronautical engineering. They chose BK Hostel, known for giving its students a lot of freedom, for their accommodation to live their dream life. However, things take a turn when they have to confront Kutty, their senior in college. Kutty, known for ragging in the college, thrashes Aju, Bibi, and Shanthan and later offers them an entry into his gang. However, Aju feels humiliated and is not ready to join Kutty’s gang. As a result, he wishes to seek revenge.

In order to get back to Kutty, they finally find a prominent local Malayali gangster named Ranga. Here is when Aavesham truly begins and follows the journey of Fahadh Faasil as Ranga.

Who is Ranga?

Ranga is a local gangster in Bangalore who is always seen clad in an all-white ensemble. He has a gang of several strong men ready to serve him with their lives at his command. While his exterior defines him as a generous man, his inmate, Amban, reveals how furious Ranga is. He tells the boys how Ranga once killed many people after joining Reddy’s gang. He even killed his brother and buried his body in his own house. It was when Ranga’s mother walked out of his life and later died that he stopped beating and killing people.

The boys refuse to believe the story and enjoy their lives with Ranga and his men. The gangster would treat them as his younger brothers and provide them with all amenities. Ranga even grows closer to Bibi’s mother and treats her like his own. Finally, the boys find the right time to share their concerns about Kutty with Ranga. On the occasion of Holi, Ranga puts forward his true colors, and his gang beats up Kutty. His message is loud and clear – Aju, Bibi, and Shanthan are the most powerful students on campus.

The boys live their dream life as Ranga showers them with everything they need. But things change when the new director of their college threatens to expel them for their behavior. The director warns them and asks them to cut their ties with the dreaded gangster. Moreover, he asks them to pass all the examinations to continue their studies in college.

Following the serious threat from the director, the boys become concerned about their future. They do not know how to tell Ranga about the same and cut ties with him.

With time, the boys learn how Ranga gets rid of his men, who abandon him. Moreover, they realize that the stories about his bloodshed are absolutely true. Ultimately, they move out of the flat Ranga had gifted them and refrain from contacting him. On the other hand, a worried Ranga desperately searches for the three boys with his men.

Aavesham ending explained: Does Ranga kill the three boys?

Meanwhile, Reddy, Ranga’s former boss, reaches out to the boys to seek information about his ex-employee. While Reddy does not harm the boys, he is after Ranga’s life and wants to destroy him. Ranga successfully contacts Bibi and asks the three boys to meet him at his flat. Upon reaching the decided location, Bibi stands up against Ranga and tells him about the threat they have received. As the gangster is startled by Bibi’s reaction, he asks Amban to reach the location. Aavesham takes another major turn when Bibi calls Reddy, and he arrives with his men to kill Ranga.

At this point, Ranga tries to solely protect the boys from Reddy and faces the latter’s men. However, it is soon revealed that the boys have called Reddy, and they see Ranga’s psychotic side. The feeling of betrayal makes Ranga give up his vow to never kill anyone. He fights against Reddy’s men with his signature weapon. Moreover, he takes Reddy’s life, and his next targets are the boys. However, a phone call from Bibi’s mother saves their lives, as Ranga respects her dearly. As his psychotic period ends, he gives his blessings to the three boys for their approaching examination.

Aavesham ends with the examination results being announced at the college. While Shanthan passes in all the subjects, Aju and Bibi each fail in one. When they head out of their college, Ranga, clad in all-black attire, waits with Amban and his gang for them. They go after the boys to beat them, and the movie ends.
