Netflix’s popular Korean dating show, Single’s Inferno, is back for a third season. Single’s Inferno 3 will premiere on December 12, 2023. The series follows a set of single men and women who try to find love and a potential partner. Throughout the course of the episodes, they participate in various challenges, and the winners get to couple up and leave Inferno for a romantic Paradise.
After the global success of the first two seasons, Singles Inferno‘s third installment promises more drama, romance and challenges, if the new trailer is anything to go by. The dating show will bring all the heat for viewers to cozy up this winter as new contestants embark on the journey of finding love.
Singles Inferno 3 trailer teases a spicy adventure
Netflix officially released the trailer for Singles Inferno 3, in which the narrator says, “This is where the real inferno is about to unfold.” Viewers get a sneak peak of the gruesome challenges, the contestants’ state of mind, and some romantic moments. The cast members are definitely bolder this time around, with the show reaching a greater scale compared to the past two seasons.
Contestants participate in some iconic challenges as they endure newer battles. Some decide to fight for their love, while others are bound under a spell. One contestant says, “This is really driving people insane,” indicating tough competition among the singles. The couples that match leave Inferno for a “hotter and more honest Paradise.”
Paradise is a place far away from the Inferno base camp, where the couples stay. Winners of a challenge get to pick their own partners, and they match if the partners pick them as well. Together, they leave for Paradise to spend a night, where they get to know more about each other. This time, however, the trailer teases intense flirtations and bolder moves in Paradise.
Singles Inferno isn’t just known for its romance. Where there is love, drama always follows. In season 3, the couple battle timing, more potential partners, and bitter arguments, all of which promises to fill up the drama quotient for the dating show.
Singles Inferno 3 hosts, cast & more
K-pop singer Kyuhyun, actress Lee Da-Hee, comedian Hong Jin-Kyung, and rapper Hanhae will make their return as hosts this season. They will be accompanied by YouTube sensation and game show sensation DEX. He became popular after starring in season 2 of Singles Inferno as the charming and most-wanted singleton. He went on to compete in the 2023 Netflix reality series Zombieverse.
The cast of Singles Inferno 3 hasn’t yet been released, but since the release date is almost here, viewers will soon see who will compete on the show. Meanwhile, Yoo Ki Hwan, Netflix’s unscripted lead for Korea, hinted that Inferno and Paradise will shape up to be completely different than the previous seasons.
He said, “Especially when it comes to ‘Paradise’ — it won’t just be a luxurious resort, but more of a special and intimate place where the couples have a chance to dive deeper into each other’s emotions, elevating the romance.” The production team also noted that there will be new rules, adding to the anticipation and the drama.
