My Man is Cupid Episode 3: Jang Dong-Yoon and Baek-Ryun go on a date
My Man is Cupid episode 3 begins right where the second episode ends. Jang Dong-Yoon’s Cheon Sang-Hyuk fights off the heinous killer on the loose when he tries to kill Nana’s Baek-Ryun, as she is the third witness of the murder of the 40-year-old nurse Eun-Seo. The killer has already murdered the other two witnesses. Although the killer is unable to harm Baek-Ryun as Sang-Hyuk arrives at the spot at the right time, he still manages to run away.
Unaware of the man’s real identity, Sang-Hyuk and Baek-Ryun think he is just a stalker. After the killer runs away, Baek-Ryun rushes to check if Sang-Hyuk is hurt anywhere, as men around her always get fatally injured. However, she feels relieved when she finds out he is completely fine. Soon, she starts to believe that he is her destiny and her one true love. Thus, she begins to persuade him to go on a date.
Although Sang-Hyuk initially refuses to entertain any possibility of going on a date with Baek-Ryun, he later goes on a dinner date with her. Despite the perfect ambiance and food, the two end up bickering. However, both start to develop feelings for one another.
Jang Dong-Yoon catches the evil murderer in My Man is Cupid Episode 3
Episode 3 of My Man is Cupid also showcases Detective Seo Jae-Hee, played by Park Ki-Woong, trying to find the identity of the third witness so that he can keep the person safe from the menacing killer. From their extensive investigation, they found out that the third witness purchased and was carrying a flower-printed umbrella at the time of the murder. Thus, they start looking for the person, completely unaware that it is none other than veterinarian Baek-Ryun.
Meanwhile on his way back from the mountaintop, Jang Dong-Yoon’s Sang-Hyuk comes face-to-face with Nana’s Baek-Ryun, who is on her way to the mountaintop to prey. The two end up sharing a kiss accidentally. Then Baek-Ryun asks him if he wants to have drinks with her and he agrees. The two share a comforting moment with each other while drinking Makgeolli, a Korean alcoholic drink.
At the time of returning from there, Sang-Hyuk calls for a driver. They two are ready to get inside the car when the driver arrives. However, when Sang-Hyuk hands the driver his car keys, he notices a scar on his hand. Turns out the man he fought with is pretending to be the driver. After realizing that, he catches him and firmly holds him. Although he does not know that he is the killer of Eun-Seo, he still sees him. The episode ends right there.
