Marry My Husband is a highly fascinating new revenge K-drama series that debuted on tvN on January 1, 2024. The ongoing series is also available on Amazon Prime Video. The K-drama stars popular South Korean actress Park Min-Young as the lead character Kang Ji-Won. The series is an adaptation of the celebrated webtoon of the same name, created by Sung So-Jak. The webtoon was further based on the namesake web novel.

What’s Marry My Husband Webtoon About?

Marry My Husband is a highly thrilling fantasy romance webcomic, written by Sung So-Jak. It is adapted by LICO. It is also serialized as a webtoon, which went on to become quite popular. It was first released on November 1, 2021, on Naver Webtoon.

The webtoon chronicles the story of a cancer patient in her early 30s named Ji-Won, who is gifted with the opportunity to change her tragic destiny after her unfortunate demise. The ongoing tvN series, Marry My Husband is closely based on the webtoon and has kept the main character extremely similar to the central character of the webtoon.

The official synopsis of the webtoon reads, “When Jiwon, a 37-year-old cancer patient, walks in on her husband and best friend, she realizes her whole life has been a lie. What’s worse, she dies a tragic death at the hands of her husband. Would things have been different if she had made different choices?”

The synopsis further reads, “Fortunately for Jiwon, she is given the chance to rewrite her fate when she is reincarnated as her younger self. This time, she vows to live a happy life. But first comes revenge. Her plan? To marry off her now former best friend to her lying, cheating husband.”
